photo manipulation / ethics
a. some of the main points are anyone can edit a photo in a matter of seconds, when before it would have taken hours. "any technique that can alter the original scene or image captured by the camera is considered unethical".
b. the Washington Post and the New York times provide their photographers with strict guidelines on how to shoot and edit their photographs. one of these rules is "no colors will be altered form the original scene photographed".
c. acceptable things to do to an image that doesn't cross the line into an unethical manipulation is adding a bit of color, and cropping something that isn't as important out of the picture.

this photo is the most unethical because Oprah's head is photoshopped onto another woman's body, which is very disrespectful and rude.
