a. some of the main points are anyone can edit a photo in a matter of seconds, when before it would have taken hours. "any technique that can alter the original scene or image captured by the camera is considered unethical". b. the Washington Post and the New York times provide their photographers with strict guidelines on how to shoot and edit their photographs. one of these rules is "no colors will be altered form the original scene photographed". c. acceptable things to do to an image that doesn't cross the line into an unethical manipulation is adding a bit of color, and cropping something that isn't as important out of the picture. d. this photo is the most unethical because Oprah's head is photoshopped onto another woman's body, which is very disrespectful and rude. e. this photo manipulation is very minor because all they did was change her teeth which isn't really a big deal.

2018 winners the story looking at this photo makes the viewer wonder what caused the explosion and is it safe to do that, which makes them want to know the story behind it . action and emotion there's a lot of action and emotion showing on the faces of the people going under the parachute, they're obviously happy and excited . filling the frame this photo is an example of filling the frame because the sparks and different colored lights from the welding makes it look cool and draws your eye . 2012 winners 1. i picked this photo because the way the paint or whatever that is, jumps up and is the main focus of the photo . 2. avoiding mergers 1. i picked this photo because i remembered teachers used to use projectors like that instead of the better ones we have now and it looked kinda dumb . 2. simplicity, framing, balance 3. science classrooms, while a teacher is doing a lecture/notes 4. ramos, cayer, hartford?? 5. find different angles, zoom in
